ENVELOPES

Printed Envelopes can be produced in two ways
- Made then printed
- Printed then made
Made then Printed
The advantage of using Pre Made Envelopes is that it is possible to print in smaller quantities inexpensively and the only disadvantage is the limit of area you can print onto.
When designing for print on pre-made envelopes two inherent limitations must be considered:
- Print must not be closer than 10mm from any of the edges
- Printing across different thicknesses (For example the flaps) is not successful

Printed then Made
Printing before making envelopes removes the limitations of the made then printed envelopes detailed above. It is possible to print on every part of the envelope and even on the inside if required.
The only disadvantage of producing envelopes this way is that the cost of set up is quite high, making small runs expensive. For larger runs the costs compare favourably with made then printed envelopes.
Our standard size is C5 but we can provide a bespoke quote for your specific envelope requirements.
Envelopes can be printed on either 100gm Executive range Stock or 115gm Gloss Art or 1120 Equest - if you require a different stock paper please contact us
